Music and entertainment enthusiasts in Ghana will for the next nine (9) weeks have cause to enjoy good, fresh music and also support their favourite contestants as e.TV Ghana has acquired the exclusive rights and is set to bring viewers live telecast of this year’s MTN Project Fame West Africa.
The show which kicked off last weekend, is probably the most influential music talent show in West Africa and has over the last eight years inspired ten’s of thousands of young Nigerians, Ghanaians, Liberians and Serra Leoneans to strive to become real music superstars.
“Our numerous viewers can always rely on us to bring them quality entertainment programmes. As usual we want them to have an up-to-the minute, real feel of this year’s MTN Project Fame West Africa,” according to Malebo Phage, Head of e.TV Ghana. “e.TV is always striving to show new content and to bring the best of showbiz from around the world to Ghanaians,” Malebo stated.
He indicated that this live telecast is also important in order to give Ghanaians the opportunity to follow, support and share in the happiness of the Ghanaian contestants in the Project Fame Academy house.
Ghanaians should expect a very interactive reality show on e.TV Ghana with in-studio discussions on Saturdays from 7:30pm – 9:00pm and Sundays 7:30pm – 9:30pm for live eviction performances of contestants. For a complete feel of the whole show, Mondays to Fridays at 5:30pm, viewers will also have a unique opportunity to follow day by day, the behind the scenes progress of the contestants in their quest for fame. Weekly highlights will also be shown on Saturdays 12:00pm – 1:00pm for those who missed the main show during the week. The hashtag on social media is #ProjectFameonETV.
MTN Project Fame West Africa seeks to discover raw talented musical hopefuls who are groomed for success in an intense academy. The contestants receive the very best professional training – from voice and movement to performance and song writing.
