Profound Ghanaian creative director based in Germany, Emmanuel Whajah has been recognized in Forbes Africa’s 2023 30 Under 30 list.
Emmanuel Whajah doubles as a talented videographer and is the founder of Emzy Production Films.
The 29-year-old is also the co-founder of “Play The Game,” a social media agency whose top priorities are to provide the athletes they represent with high-quality and current content that fits in with social media trends, as well as to help them develop strong personal brand and increase their market value.
Athletes affiliated with the Play The Game agency include the Ghanaian duo of Kingsley Schindler and Daniel Kofi Kyereh, as well as Germany’s Thilo Kehrer and several other players.
Emmanuel Whajah joins Black Stars and Ajax attacking midfielder Mohamed Kudus as the two Ghanaians honoured by Forbes Africa in this year’s ranking.
Speaking to YFM’s Jude Tackie, Emmanuel disclosed that making it to the Forbes Africa list has been his focus for a while as he aspires to be a great role model to many talents on the continent and beyond. “For the last few years, I had set a goal of what I absolutely had to achieve in my life to be a great role model for young talents. And that included achieving something that no one in my family or circle of friends or my German African community had achieved, and that was to make it onto the Forbes 30 Under 30. So I am thankful to God for my life and this success,” he shared.
He further shared plans of projecting his agency “Play The Game” across the world, promoting more athletes and most importantly working with Ghanaian creative talents.
“My future projects are to bring my agency Play The Game further into the world and to promote many new athletes and help them with the personal branding of their career. At the same time I will be working in Ghana with young talented creative and trying to design projects that come together to visualize their vision. It will not be an easy process but with God all things are possible,” he added.
While being a creative director and videographer, Whajah has also worked with several brands and personalities.
