King Faisal president, Alhaji Karim Grusah, has called for fair officiating in their game against Eleven Wonders at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
The two teams share the same venue and are currently battling to survive relegation.
King Faisal for the first time this season was able to move up from the drop zone last weekend after a 1-0 win against Elmina Sharks.
Eleven Wonders also dropped to the bottom on the league table after losing to Hearts of Oak.
Grusah is confident his side can beat Eleven Wonders if they are guaranteed fair officiating.
”I am praying that the referees that will officiate our game against Eleven Wonders will be fair”, Alhaji Grusah told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM.
“In our game against Eleven Wonders, we are going in for the win. We are planning to pay the winning bonuses on time and also clear the outstanding salaries of the players so they can be motivated to play the game”.
Grusah also disclosed that King Faisal is planning to beef up security at the match venue.
“We are taking up steps to beef up security at the stadium on Saturday. We are picking information that some Eleven Wonders fans will try to disrupt the game so we are planning to bring about 20 soldiers to the stadium”.
