The Guiness World Record has officially marked Nigerian chef Hilda Baci as the longest cooking marathon individual record holder globally.
In a video post made by the GWR’s official Twitter page on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 captioned, “After reviewing all the footage, we are delighted to announce that Hilda Baci is the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual).”
According to an official adjudicator of the global record-breaking authority, Adjudicator Mark, all evidence was carefully scrutinized ensuring that all rules were followed throughout.

He later added that due to a miscalculation that occurred while calculating Hilda’s rest breaks, she was not awarded for 100 hours of cooking as claimed, but still stood as the new record holder with 93 hours and 11 minutes. And was awarded an official Guiness World Record Certificate.
