Happy FM to Organize Live Screening of Euro 2016

Happy 98.9 FM has announced that it will be screening the European Football Competition, Euro 2016, live from across different locations in the capital, Accra. In a release, the Asylum Down based radio station, touted as the nation’s number one sports station said the free public screening will be done in collaboration with Winabets, a betting company.
The live activations of the Euro 2016 matches comes on the heels of the successful screening of the just ended UEFA Champion’s League final by the station at the Junction Mall at the Nungua Barrier.
Speaking at the Junction Mall, one of the venues for the free live screenings, Kwasi Sarpong, the Programmes Manager of Happy FM said, ‘’we are just heeding to the numerous requests from our fans to show the tournament live,’’ adding that, ‘’we want to make it a community tournament for all football lovers to watch the matches in an enjoyable atmosphere.’’
He encouraged all football fans to listen to Happy FM to know the various areas where the matches will be shown live in order to go and watch.
Happy FM will also give fans great live commentary of matches on each match day of the Euro 2016 beginning on the 10 June, 2016 until the end of the tournament in July. Among the venues billed for the live screenings are Junction Mall (June 10, July 6, 7 &10), Phinlex Spot opposite Demod, North Kaneshie (June 13 & 22), Mr. Food, Dansoman (June 16), West Hills Mall (June 25).
