Ghana’s number one Sports Station Happy 98.9FM will hold the maiden edition of the Happy Sports Dialogue with top football personalities and administrators on Thursday October 27, 2022 to deliberate on how the Black Stars and the other African countries participating in this year’s World Cup can break the quarter-final jinx.
This will be the first among the World Cup dialogues that will be organized ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
With just a few days to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Happy 98.9FM will be seeking the opinions and ideas of these football gurus on how the five African teams (Senegal, Ghana, Morocco, Cameroon and Tunisia) can reach the semi-finals in this year’s tournament.
Four seasoned football administrators, Akwasi Agyeman, Vice Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, George Afriyie, Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA),Yaw Boateng Gyan, Former Mangement Committee Member of the Black Stars and Wilfred Osei Kweku- Former Chairman, Black Stars Management Committee Member will be our guests to deliberate on the issue.
The Head of Sports for Happy FM, Odiasempa Kwame Oware, says the Happy Sports Dialogues comes in three parts. “We are dedicating our first three sets of discussions to the world cup hence, we are calling it the world cup series. In the world cup series, we have three set of discussions lined up, the first one with football administrators, the second discussion will have Coaches and former football players and the third and final discussion will have sports journalists and football enthusiasts.
The discussion will be live on e.tv Ghana and Happy 98.9 FM from 9am to 11am and will also be available on social media (facebook, twitter and instagram).
The other two world cup series are scheduled for November 3 with Coaches and Ex footballers and 10th November 10 with Journalists and Supporters.
The dialogue will be moderated by Ohene Bampoe Brenya, host of Happy Sports which airs each and every weekday, from 9;00am to 11;00am.
Ghana, Cameroon and Senegal are the only African countries to have reached the last eight of the Mundial.
The 2022 World Cup tournament kicks off on November 20,2022 and will be live on e.TV Ghana and Happy 98.9FM.
