As part of activities marking its 15th Anniversary celebration, the House of Consecration Ministry (HCM) extended its love and impact beyond the church walls with a memorable outreach to the Rising Star Orphanage at Dodowa.
The outreach, which forms part of the church’s anniversary legacy projects, saw members and leadership of the ministry spend quality time with the children, sharing not just items, but hope for the future.
In the spirit of the celebration, the team donated assorted food items , provisions and other essentials to the orphanage, shared lunch with the kids, and cut their anniversary cake with them. The highlight of the day was the presentation of a cash donation of GH₵5,000 to support the upkeep of the home.
It was not just about donations. It was about connection. The pastors shared a word of exhortation, encouraging the children to keep their faith in God and hold onto their dreams. The team also had one-on-one fellowship sessions with the children.
In an emotional moment, some of the children shared their future aspirations – with dreams of becoming bankers, soldiers, immigration officers, pilots and more. The team assured them that God has their future secured and that their dreams are valid and achievable.
“It was memorable. Seeing these kids dream so big despite their background reminds us why we must keep extending love. At 15 years, we are celebrating lives, not just years,” a member of the HoC leadership shared.
The ministry expressed profound gratitude to all members and partners who made time to be part of the outreach, with special appreciation to their visioneer, Rev. Kingsley George Adjei Agyeman and Lady Ivy Adjei Agyeman, for their visionary leadership.
The outreach at Dodowa is just one of many activities lined up for the HCM @15 Anniversary, which is under the theme Revealing Jesus
The extending of love continues…
