Jennifer Lopez hasn’t set a date for her wedding to Alex Rodriguez, but the Hustlers star has already been photographed out in one wedding dress it may be hard for any bride to top. The singer and actress is shooting Marry Me in New York City right now, and last night, she was shooting a scene where she wore an enormous sequin-adorned ball gown by Zuhair Murad. She accessorized with a bejeweled veil. Taken together, the look is breathtaking…and a lot of sparkle.
The plot synopsis of Marry Me, which comes out in 2020, is pretty spectacular. According to IMDB, “A pop superstar is jilted by her rock-star fiancé moments before their wedding at Madison Square Garden, so she marries a random guy from the crowd instead.” J.Lo is presumably the pop star.
Lopez spoke about her actual wedding plans to the Evening Standard last month and why they’ve been on hold. “I have a movie I’m shooting in October [Marry Me, with Owen Wilson and Sarah Silverman], and the movie has an album that goes with it, so I’m just a little bit busy right now, and until October, he has the World Series in baseball.
We’re going to have to pick a day, pick a time and block it out, but we’re definitely talking about it. [Marriage is] important for both of us. We both come from traditional Latin families and we want that,” she added. “Everyone wants somebody to grow old with. At the end of the day, how much work can you do, how much money can you make, and what does it all matter? It doesn’t, really.”
