Award winning female vocalist, Eldah Naa Abiana Dickson, known as Abiana within the music industry, has described her creative process as one that always brings out unexpectedly amazing sounds.
The highlife singer in an interview on Y107.9FM’s ShoutsonY with host Reggie Reg, recounted her early days as a musician and how she gradually adapted to a variety of music styles and genres as a member of a live band group.
Abiana noted that her wide knowledge in music has given her the advantage to explore and generate her own style of music which sets her on a distinct path and has garnered the interests of many industry players to patronize that unique style.
“When you are particular about your art and you know what you want, when you sell your song to people who listen to your song realize that your sound is different; they look at you and they look at your path and they desire to do something different with you.”
She emphasized the efforts of artistes and their respective teams to always go beyond the ordinary when collaborating with her. ” They always want to top it up a notch than everyone; they want to try something they always say they want me to do what everyone is doing; I went to Liquid beatz and the goal was to do something everyone knows; I started singing and the producer brought out something different; it’s the vibe I carry.”
