Brand ambassador for American footwear company, Crocs Inc, Eni Adeoluwa opened up on his initial doubts when he received the first email from the company.
Speaking on Y 107.9 FM’s “Party Pressure” with host Princess AJ, Eni revealed that he felt the email was spam and initially ignored it.
“We know Crocs is officially in Ghana and I’ve been working with them for some time on the continent as an ambassador. Crocs sent an email and I felt like that was a spam because I thought why would they want to work with me – this is an international brand. I ignored, but then there was a follow-up from them then I knew this was a big deal,” Eni shared.
Eni, who is also a media personality and social media influencer, went on to express his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to work with the renowned brand.
He reiterated that it was a surreal moment for him to bag such a huge contract from the brand, having been a long-time admirer of the brand.
Eni further advised fellow content creators to express their views and admiration for brands they would love to work with as he believes that might just be the way to winning notable contracts.
“You know you get to a point in life where some good news make you cry because you weren’t expecting it. You know that sign of relief you get for some wild news. That was the feeling at the moment,” he added.
Crocs, known for its signature comfortable and casual footwear, has been making strides in the African market since its official launch in Ghana. The brand has been actively engaging with local communities and partnering with notable personalities like Eni to promote its products.
Eni, who is also a fashion enthusiast, has been using his platform to showcase the versatility and style of Crocs footwear, debunking the notion that they are only meant for comfort and practicality.
With her infectious personality and passion for fashion, Eni is set to continue making waves as a brand ambassador for Crocs in Africa and beyond.
The brand officially outdoored its presence in Ghana with a brunch party over the weekend with the Nigerian star in Ghana as several Ghanaian content creators and celebrities represented in style.
