Internationally recognized Nigerian singer, Ladipoe, has confessed that before musical fame, he had dreams of becoming a medical doctor.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Rev. Erskine on the Myd-Morning Radio Show on Y107.9FM, he said that he was just another regular person with an educational background in Biology and Chemistry, who was working, hoping to one day realize his dream in the medical field when he discovered his musical talent.
According to him, the music probably may have been with him or in him since childhood but he did not realize it until recently. “It may have been there but I did not know. It was something that just came and slapped me in the face”, he said.
“I was in pre-med when I was drawn to this calling because I discovered I had this skill and this skill has kept improving with time. I was in America at the time so when I moved to Nigeria, eventually, the stories became real”, he shared with YFM.
Ladipoe intimated that being a rapper in another country is different from when you’re doing it in your own country, hence, it is when he came back home to Nigeria that he became an actual artiste with stories to tell.
