Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HypeNet Marketing Group, Rhoda Naa Yemoley Odoi, has shared the secret behind her commitment to always strive for excellence and incorporate the drive in her work.
Speaking on Y 107.9 FM’s Y Leaderboard Series with Rev. Erskine, Odoi shared that her upbringing growing up in a military home shaped her pursuit of excellence.
Miss Odoin acknowledged that her parents provided her with everything she needed, including a good education. However, with two intelligent older brothers, she felt a high limit had been set for her – hence needed to do better always.
For her, she was more challenged when her mother, the strict one in the family, never compared her to any female but always to her elder brothers.
“I grew up with two big brothers, intelligent ones, and this was the limit they set for me. So being the only girl, it always felt like I definitely had to do better than what my brothers did before. My mom never compared me with any female, either a friend, family member, or whatever. “It was always my elder brothers,” she shared.
According to Odoi, her upbringing was well-organized but strict; she was therefore hardly allowed to socialize away from home. It was always school and home, and her parents did everything to make sure the family was secure.
She attributed her drive for excellence to her upbringing, saying that she had high expectations to meet growing up, which have continued to shape her pursuit of excellence in her personal and professional life.
“From a military standpoint, everything came together very well, and we barely went out.”It was always school and home. I was privileged that my parents strived to provide for us everything a child needed growing up, including education. We had great teachers. “We had a good upbringing as my dad did everything to make sure the family was secure,” she continued.

She stated that the company has high expectations of itself and always strives to meet them. “We have a drive for excellence and are committed to providing the best services to our clients,” she said.
