Fast-rising Nigerian sensation, Face B has revealed that before making a career in music he was a student of ceramic science.
According to him, he was steadily glued to his books and school life. However, regardless of being a sharp student, he always saw light in music.
“I was a ceramics scientist, I studied ceramics technology and that’s part of material science and engineering. So, I was in that for quite some time and just a few moments. But even before the ceramics and all that music was there for me.
He made this revelation in an interview with Y107.9 FM’S Kojo Manuel on the “Dryve of Your Life”.
Face B further shared that he was inspired by his father’s music path whose career barely came to the limelight.
“I came from a musical home and it was all about my father but he was not well pronounced. He influenced me in my early stages and even before engineering, music was there before anything else. I started writing at a tender age of 11,” he added.
Face B joins a tall list of Nigerian artistes who seem to have had a good path in education before they landed a career in music. Notable ones include Bella Shmurda and Naira Marley, DJ Cuppy, and Davido among others.
