Italian-Ghanaian heavyweight rapper Lexis Drogo has revealed what stopped him from making music of his own in the past was his inability to overcome his shyness of hearing his voice as the voice behind a song.
The Afropop singer revealed that he was involved with music initially as a beat producer since 2012 and has beats that he hops on in his present day career as a musician.
He tagged the global COVID-19 pandemic era as the season he prepared himself and gathered momentum and made up his mind to start making his own songs. The artiste revealed that he started making his own music in 2022 being featured by a couple of big artistes in Ghana.
“I’m not really the shy type but I was sort of shy when it comes to recording myself , hearing my voice in a record, .”The rapper indicated on Y107.9FM’s Wake and Bake show with host Kula and further stated “So after COVID-19 I got over it and just did it irrespective of the feedback.”
“The gift of singing and rapping has always been in me I just had tap into it.” He posited about himself and urged fans to be expecting 5 bangers within the course of the year.
