French Diplomat and Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Anne Sophie AVÉ, has expressed her love for Ghana and how she feels about the thought of having to leave someday.
Talking to Rev. Erskine on YFM’s Y-Leaderboard show, she said, “I don’t want to think of it. It’s going to be heartbreaking because I’ve had an amazing time. Feeling that you’re useful and that you’re making a difference and feeling that people appreciate what you do is absolutely amazing and I’ve had extraordinary moments here. I haven’t had a dull moment”.
H.E Anne Sophie confessed that leaving Ghana is going to be absolutely heartbreaking to her and for that matter she will probably never really leave. “I have friends here so we never know what can happen. I have no idea”, she said.
“Months before I was appointed to Ghana, I was a Human Resources Director in the army, I was fully dedicated to my job and I had absolutely no idea that my next move would be to Africa. I don’t know where I will be next year but what I know is that my heart will definite remain here”, the French Ambassador assured.
She further disclosed that she has a property here in Ghana, hence, she is bound to come back. “I also know that in the month of December, everything happens in Ghana and Ghana is the place to be so I know that next year December, I will definitely be here”.
H.E. Anne Sophie concluded that she does not know for sure where she will be, however, she will never be very far because Ghana is now her second homeland.
