Ghanaian hip hop rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, professionally known as Medikal has opened up about his alleged divorce from Ghanaian socialite, Fela Makafui
The rapper expressed his experience in an interview on Youtube show, LogicBox. “When you meet someone at a particular point of your life and you want to tie the knot with the person, don’t be afraid to do it go ahead but when the going gets tough in your union, don’t kill yourself.” Medikal said
He revealed that marriage has opened his mind to an in-depth understanding of how life is and has been gradually instilled with qualities like patience and understanding. “Marriage has taught me patience and understanding; right now I understand life in so many ways and now I am more patient and calm about so many things.”
Although reasons behind the separation of the showbiz couple remain unknown, he noted that the separation between him and Fela Makafui should be considered as one of life’s normal happenings as he is not the only person to do so. “Everything is cool; it’s a normal thing in life; I have not set any record. It has happened so many times.”
On Saturday, March 30, 2024 Medikal declared his separation from Fela Makafui on social media and asked tweeps and netizens to identify her as the mother of his child, Island Frimpong. Medikal affirms that the couple will now share responsibility in taking care of their daughter.
