Ghanaian rapper, Richtrapperyo born Lawrence Larry Boakye, who hails from the Ashanti Region of Ghana believes that his music is an unfulfilled prophecy, He likens his music purpose to the life of Moses as he aspires to take Ghanaian music to greater heights - So as Ghanaians, we need to embrace ourselves because we have on our hands some journey to embark!

The rapper shared insight on how his journey in the music world started. He indicated that his very fulfilling and accomplished journey in this very popular craft started after he stumbled across an artiste’s page. He contacted the musician and expressed passion for the genre while also hoping to land a record deal.

The young talent was left high and dry and as they say, “things didn’t source and yawa was the end result of the day”. Even after the disappointment in the earlier stages of his career, he chested everything and was persistent in trying to get his music heard by as many people as possible and we can all agree that he is doing evenly well.
