Ghanaian artiste, E.L. has vowed to never betray his good judgement and creative freedom in his just-released documentary, “Till The Wheel Fall Off” after long hiatus from the entertainment space.
E.L. opened up his world to fans who had questions about his silence and his highly anticipated documentary. He indicated that he was fed up doing the same things and needed to introduce himself to some changes and adventure.
He explained that his creative nature makes him want to explore new things and express himself in unique ways. “EL gets bored very easily. El doesn’t like doing the same thing over and over again. If that’s what they want EL to be doing then El is going to be like okay I don’t need it. That’s one very main characteristic about who EL is,” he shared.
The “Koko” hitmaker also shared some significant challenges he faced as he indicated that people did not understand and relate to his artistic vision. However, as someone who considers himself a pure creative, he will continue to express himself in more unique ways.
“When I decide to do something different most people might not identify with what I’m talking about. A lot of people do but not most people because I’m a creative and consider myself a pure artiste so regardless of what the people are going to think I just go ahead and do what I do. I want to always express myself and I don’t listen to nobody. I’m always going to do things in my own time and when I’m ready,” he added.
E.L. further revealed that he used to listen to people’s opinions and base his decisions on what they thought about him. Nevertheless, he’s now grown out of that phase and is never going to betray his good sense again. He wants to express himself in his unique way, regardless of whether people understand him or not.
“I used to listen and do my things according to the views of people but I’ve grown out of that. I’m never going to ever, ever again betray myself and good sense. I have my own ideas and identity as a musician and I’m just barely scratching the surface with regards to that.”
These statements showcase E.L.’s strong sense of identity as a musician and his unwavering determination to stay true to himself.
E.L. has now signed a partnership deal with the global music distribution company, ONErpm as he is poised to expand his reach and make an impact in the global music scene with his return. He is also set to release his first project this year.
