Nigerian singer Khaid has revealed that Ghanaian musician Black Sheriff is his favourite Ghanaian artiste.
Khaid, who is known for his hit singles “Carry Me Go” and “Bad Man,” made the revelation in a recent interview with Y 97.9 FM’s “Shouts On Y” with Ram.
When asked who his favourite musician from Ghana, Khaid said, “I like Black Sheriff a lot. He’s my favoUrite, and I look forward to collaborating with him someday.”
Khaid also praised the Ghanaian music industry, saying that they are doing well and should keep on doing what they’re doing. He also encouraged them to target the world and not only their country.
This is a great compliment for Black Sheriff, who is one of the hottest artists in Ghana right now. He has had several hit singles in the past year, including “Second Sermon,” “Kwaku the Traveller,” and “Soja.”
It is also a good sign for the Ghanaian music industry as a whole. Khaid is one of the biggest up-and-coming artists in Nigeria, and his praise for the Ghanaian music industry is sure to attract more attention to it.
