Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and performer, Cina Soul has expressed her astonishment at the diverse range of people who enjoy and listen to her music.
In a recent interview on Y107.9FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show with Rev Erskine and DJ Ganj, Cina Soul revealed that she’s shocked by the number of kids who are fans of her music.
“I’m shocked that kids enjoy my music,” she said. “The age range of my listeners blows me away, and it’s the kids that shock me the most.”
Cina Soul added that she’s often surprised when kids recognize her in public and ask their parents to take them to her.
What is even more surprising to Cina Soul is that some of her songs, like “Ojorley” and “Obiaa” ft Akwaboah, which were meant for adults and corporate events, have resonated with kids as well. “I question myself when I see kids who are my fans,” she said. “Even though people of all ages enjoy my music, the fact that kids are my top fans is still shocking to me.”
