After a phenomenal performance at the just ended YFM Area Codes Jam that took place inside Takoradi in the Western Region over the weekend, Ghanaian rap sensation, Kofi Kinaata, dedicated one of his recently won awards to his fans.
The ‘Susuka’ hit maker won the ‘Song writer of the year’ at the 17th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2016 (VGMA) held at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) recently.
Kofi Kinaata who is popularly known as the ‘Fante Rap God’ commended his Takoradi fans who were present at the Jubilee Park during the YFM Area Code Jam for the love and massive support they had shown him throughout his career. He later dedicated one of the awards –which he had brought on stage – to his ‘Taadi fans’.
The event organized by YFM and sponsored by Guinness Ghana Ltd, lit up the oil city with music and entertainment for the youth.
The heavily patronized event also had top notch musicians like Eazzy, DXD and Eye Judah among others, thrilling patrons to several hit songs.
“YFM Area Code Jams has over the years maintained the record of being the number one event in Ghana that brings entertainment to the doorsteps of the youth. As promised, the Takoradi event was bigger and better and we will continue to raise the bar with each event,” Miss Naa, Station Manager of YFM stated.
YFM Area Code Jams is an annual entertainment that is held in some selected cities around the country.
