Ghanaian singer and song writer, Eugene Kwame Marfo, popularly known as Kuami Eugene, has revealed an earlier tweet he made weeks ago was misunderstood and ignited claims of the artiste leaving his prime record label Lynx Entertainment.
The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2020 Artiste and Highlife Artiste of the Year while speaking on Y107.9FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show with host Rev Erskine, disclosed that he had a personal relationship issue and decided to express himself on his Twitter page concerning the said issue.
“I have my private life and my personal Twitter page and Twitter is a place people express themselves at” he added.
Netizens who had made allegations of Kuami Eugene leaving Lynx entertainment had gotten grounds to intensify their claims when Kuami Eugene came out with another tweet two days later that read “My new family @EMPIREAfrica.”
“I was expecting someone to ask me what was going on but I don’t know why everyone had the motive on me leaving Lynx first” The Lynx entertainment superstar said.
He later stated during the interview that Lynx Entertainment has helped in making a legacy for him and is the reason behind who he is today therefore if he had to part ways with the said record label it would be in a more appropriate manner.
