Popular rapper and BET Best International Act nominee, Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur, identified as Kwesi Arthur in the music fraternity has advised upcoming musicians to acquire knowledge about the commercial aspects of music.
Kwesi Arthur gave his counsel based on his experience with a record label he was previously signed to in the early days of his career.
The Elevate pioneer in an interview on Y107.9FM’s Dryve Of Your Lyfe, with Kojo Manuel emphasized the need of young artistes to see music not only as career but a business and harness the benefits that it comes with.
Aside this, Kwesi Arthur highlighted self confidence and dedication as qualities that will surely guide them to success. “Well what I would say to them is, believe in yourself, learn about the business side of music before you go into it-before you get any issues, and if you are really dedicated to your craft, you will make it through.”
