The musician and environmental sanitation ambassador, Togbe Ghana, through his Let’s Go Clean the Beach initiative, partnered with DHL Ghana and YFM to lead a symbolic tree-planting exercise at the Osu Beach on Farmers’ Day, 5th December.

Together with a committed team of volunteers, the group planted 100 coconut trees, marking an important step in a broader plan to plant 10,000 coconut trees along Ghana’s coastline.
The project aims to support environmental sustainability, protect the shoreline, promote cleaner beaches, and contribute to long-term ecological restoration. Volunteers from different communities joined the activity, reinforcing the growing movement for citizen-led environmental responsibility.

Speaking at the event, Togbe Ghana emphasized the importance of collective action. He noted: “Keeping our beaches clean and green is not the responsibility of one person—it is the responsibility of all of us. Every coconut tree we plant today is a promise to the next generation.”
The initiative continues to attract partners and volunteers who share a vision of a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Ghana.
