Liranz Limited Scoops Business Innovation Award At The Invest In Africa Business Excellence Awards 2019

Liranz limited has won the Business Innovation Award, at the 2nd edition of the Invest in Africa SME Excellence Awards held at the Labadi Beach Hotel on the 25th of January 2019.
The multiple-award winning Accra based IT Consultancy and Outsourcing firm took home the coveted award based on the company’s quest to better serve its clients through its managed IT service, which is an innovative way of maximizing their clients’ satisfaction. Even though the company is not the first to bring or talk about IT outsourcing and managed IT Services in Ghana, They have redefined it by making it more customer service oriented whiles increasing the user experience and reliability.
Liranz operations in Ghana has seen them develop strong relationships with clients in various sectors of the economy including Oil and Gas, Financial Services, Legal Service, Logistics & transport, Healthcare, Non-Governmental Agencies, Real Estate, Education, startups etc. The company has been dedicated to ensuring that their clients are provided with professional IT support, ranging from fully outsourced IT Managed Service to Project based IT support throughout Ghana and beyond.
Since its establishment the prestigious IT firm has not only provided world class IT services to its cherished clients but has also impacted the lives of many across the length and breadth of this country through its philanthropic wing Liranz Foundation which focuses on developing and empowering the youth of Ghana.
 
The CEO of Liranz, Mr. Nicholas Bortey commenting on the awards, stated that “This award is dedicated to my hard working team who have demonstrated excellence in delivering innovative solutions to our loyal clients. We will continue to deliver top notch IT services in our quest to be the number one ICT Company in Ghana”.
Over the years, Liranz has been able to establish strong partnerships with some of the world’s most respected Technological organizations which have enabled us to provide our clients with top notch value and at the same time through our local strength we tailor our core functions to meet clients’ specific needs.
In a speech by the Managing Director of Tullow Ghana Ltd., Kweku Awotwi, he expressed the company’s dedication to long term development through local content participation. “We ensure that local content has a significant input in influencing our procurement processes and we currently have 75% of our contracts on our procurement plan earmarked for indigenous companies.” He stated.
The Invest in Africa SME Excellence Awards is a platform that recognizes and celebrates the achievements of successful businesses and individuals of entrepreneurial excellence. These individuals or businesses must have experienced IIA’s three benefit platforms; ‘access to skills’, ‘access to markets’, and ‘access to finance’.
 
The 2nd Edition of IIA SME Excellence Awards was on the theme, “Supporting SMEs – Key to accelerating inclusive growth and prosperity.”
This year’s edition featured three new award categories namely, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Mentorship Recognition and Business Technology Growth categories. In all, there are currently 9 award categories.
 
Other winners on the night include Woman Entrepreneur of the Year – Georgette Barnes Ltd; Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Agriaccess Ghana Ltd; Business Transformation Award – Ricks Logistics Ltd; Business Linkage Award – Right Consult and General Supplies Ltd; Business Technology & Growth Award – Consolidated Shipping Agencies Ltd; Mentorship Recognition Award – Ricks Logistics Ltd, and Scale-Up Business of the Year – Right Consult and General Supplies Ltd.
