Yesterday, Ghanaian singer Wiyaala was in London to perform live on air to listeners on BBC3’s In Tune Arts programme. The host of the show, Sean Rafferty asked the singer about her current tour in the UK with The Voices of The Revolution, her experiences at the Womad Festival and was very interested in her unique style of dressing.
Wiyaala sang “Africa” and “Make Me Dance” live, whilst accompanying herself on guitar to the huge on air audience alongside members of the horn section of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra who were also in the studio and enthusiastically applauded Wiyaala’s powerful voice.
