Liverpool and Manchester United couldn’t look like two more different clubs right now and that’s shown in the difference in their players’ wages, with the Red Devils clearly overpaying.
The M62 derby has remained of the hottest rivalries in English football even with the clubs rarely close in the Premier League. For much of the past 30 years it was United leading the league and Liverpool rarely too close, save for a few seasons.
Now it’s Jurgen Klopp’s side who lead the league and their rivals are 27 points behind and looking a complete shambles both on and off the pitch.
Now fans are comparing the two clubs’ wages with United spending far more than the league leaders:
Fam just compare????. Guys think players are coming to United because of history and shit pic.twitter.com/ZowdNsG1bY
