Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghanaian record label, Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah has shed light on the latest controversy between label artiste, Kuami Eugene and international record label, Empire.
There have been rumours that Kuami Eugene had left Lynx Entertainment after five years during the past few of weeks.
The “Takeaway” singer subsequently declared that he has now joined EMPIRE and is preparing to drop his debut single.
However, in a latest statement released by the Lynx Group Limited, and signed by its CEO, Richie Mensah, it disclosed that Lynx Entertainment still has a stronghold over Kuami Eugene, and it was Lynx who decided to team up with EMPIRE.
The statement further reiterated that the label has been working with Empire since 2021 and has signed a ‘strategic partnership’ agreement to project Kuami Eugene’s talent to the international market.
“Kuami Eugene’s deal emphasizes the Ghana-based label’s trailblazing role in the African music industry since 2007. This pathbreaking alliance will aim at projecting the career of the talented and hardworking singer & songwriter on the international market,”
