“God MC” Kwame Ametepe Tsikata (better known as M.anifest), together with Nigerian Afro-soul singer Brymo, and budding act Worlasi interacted with the media Thursday morning at the Horizons Offices -Airport City, ahead of M.anifestivities 2016 which comes off tomorrow at the Sandbox Beach in Accra.
For close to three hours, the trio, who promise patrons a memorable experience, spoke to trending stories concerning them including their albums, forthcoming works, as well as the concert.
Brymo and Worlasi feature on two songs each on the album, which has already been touted as the best album for 2016 by fans and critics alike.
Running since 2012, this is the official end-of -year party for the international hiphop act, and parades esteemed industry colleagues. It is also his gesture of appreciation to his fans for their unwavering support, and will also witness performances from other esteemed industry colleagues including Cina Soul, and DJ Keyzus.
This year, like many others, M.anifest has been among the most spoken-about rappers in the country, dominating headlines and being named among the top emcees in the country; notably by international music channel MTV Base Africa.
He also released his fifth project: Nowhere Cool to significant commercial and critical acclaim, including from Damon Albarn, Rocky Dawuni, and Spoek Mathambo. Featuring Dex Kwasi, Worlasi, Cina Soul, Nomisupasta among others, the album has widely been tipped as the best record released this year.
