UK based Ghanaian Michael Dapaah topped today’s music countdown On YFM with Rev Erskine & mzOrstin for the second consecutive week kicking “Bodak Yellow” by Cardi B off from the big spot to number 2.
From what was arguably the most hilarious yet creative freestyle ever done by a comedian on BBC1xtra’s Fire In The Booth with Charlie sloth, Michael under the alias Big Shaq took things to the next level by officially releasing “mans not hot” (the Song) on September 21st, 2017. success is an understatement for the performance of this song world wide as it went on to top charts in the Uk, and other parts of the world including Ghana.
Else where on the Countdown, Wutah’s “Bronya” maintained the number 3 spot for the third week with Knii Lante riding right behind them at number 4 with “You” ft Feli Nuna.. Lynks entertainment’s Kuami Eugene jumped from number 8 last week to number 5 with “Angela”..Kwesi Slay had the biggest leap today on the countdown having moved from number 18 last week to #10 with “wedi Bet’. Radio Jock and recording artist Trigmatic had two songs; “Joo Hami” and His latest “Me SunSum” all doing well in the list today.
Music group 4×4 came in at 16 with their latest song “Duabo” ft Sarkodie..also Off The Sakodie’s highest album, “Love YourSelf” ft Moelogo made an entry into the countdown at #19..And finally #20 today was Singer Nana Yaa with “Famame”..
