Ghanaian female singer , Cina Soul has revealed that her desire to release more songs has grown over the years as compared to her early days in the industry.
Cina Soul said this in a recent interview on Y107.9FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show (MMRS) with Rev Erskine. This new approach has led to a surge in her music releases, showcasing her growth and versatility as an artist.
Cina Soul explained that in the past, she often found herself overthinking every detail of a song, resulting in a limited release schedule. “Over the years, it was either an EP or just one song. I was always searching for that one perfect song, which took so long because I pondered and overthought it,” she said.
However, this year, she decided to adopt a new strategy, drawing inspiration from male artists who consistently release music without worrying about its commercial success. “This year, I decided to keep creating and release a lot of songs, whether they hit or not. I realized that’s what most male musicians do, and they don’t care if it’s big or not,” she revealed.
This new mindset has led to the release of several exciting tracks, including collaborations like “Too Bad” with Sarkodie and O’Kenneth and “Suloli” with Olivetheboy. Her discography also includes the EPs “For Times We Lost” and “Ga Mashi”, featuring tracks like “Spattention”, “Omg”, “Jamestown”, “Falling”, “Feelings”, “Tatale”, “Shi Mi”, “Ojorley” and “Olaka Mi”.
With her renewed focus on creativity and productivity, fans can expect even more exciting music from Cina Soul in the future.
Christie Quincyna Quarcoopome, known professionally as Cina Soul, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and performer. Born in Accra, Ghana, Cina Soul has made a name for herself in the music industry with her unique sound and style. She was a finalist at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Icons competition.
