Lebanese Ghanaian businessman, Tarek Mouganie has disclosed one key component behind his success, which are the values he was instilled while in Ghana during his early days.
The Founder of Affinity, a full-fledged digitally driven bank that provides affordable financial services to the underserved, in an interview on Y107.9FM Myd Morning Radio Show’s YLeaderBoardSeries with host. Rev Erskine recalled days of being disciplined by his father who always ensured he behaved well. “My dad was always about making sure you do things the right way. It might be the hard way, but it’s the right way.”
Tarek noted several values as what helped him climb through the ranks of success, he said “what was instilled into me that has helped me a lot, ever since I left Ghana at a very young age, was my values; making sure you treat everyone with respect because at the end of the day, when you leave this earth you take nothing but your reputation with you.”
Doctor Mouganie mentioned that these values became a fixed list of principles he lived by and is also surrounded by people who share these values which makes it easy for steady progress. “If I commit to something I needed to be sure that I was doing it the right way, which was sticking to my principles and values and being surrounded by the people who share the same values,” he stated.
