Ghanaian – Australia based Afrobeat musician, Michael Akosah known to the global music industry as Mike Akox has shared his aspirations of making music that is cherished even after his lifetime.
In an interview on Y107.9FM’s Ryse N’ Shyne with host, Brown Berry, Akox, despite his achievements and records with globally recognized musicians acknowledged that he has a lot of work to do in his music career and his new album.
“The album has to be great; it has to live for seventy years.” the song writer stated as a reply to fans who desired to know when he will hit the world with another album.
The ‘Pumpkin’ hitmaker hinted that he needs to work on himself to be like that of the greats in the music industry such as Michael Jackson, Daddy Lumba, Fela Kuti and others. “I want to make music that lasts even after when I’m dead and gone; I want to make music people are going to listen to; I need to work on myself.”
