Multifaceted Nigerian singer and songwriter, Chidozie Godsfavour Ugonichinyere popularly known as Fave has finally opened up after a long hiatus from the music scene.
The Afrobeats-Dancehall music sensation in an exclusive interview on Y 107.9’s “Shouts On Y” with ReggieReg, mentioned that her absence from the music scene was not planned.
She indicated that despite being unscripted and unintentional, her time away from the public and mainstream music was worthwhile.
Fave nonetheless indicated that she worked on some features despite her absence from public space, including a feature on Davido’s “Timeless” album.
“I also made good music with Soundz and Myles, something for my fans to look up to till I release my singles,” she added.
The “Baby Riddim” hitmaker reiterated that she strives to achieve more in her music career as she is yet to release her new project to mark her comeback.
“I am deep into writing as well as creating melodies and this time around I feel there is much dedication and much time invested in my project because I want it to sound more refreshing to my fans. I don’t it to come across as a rushed project,” she added.
Fave is currently in Ghana on a media tour and looks forward to continuing work on her much-anticipated project.
