With a high-profile event of such immensity, it comes as no surprise that Weekend Rush DJ, MzOrstin, has been billed as the lead DJ for the 2021 YRated Awards.
Known as an advocate for woman empowerment and inclusion, Orstin has for the past decade remained one of Ghana’s most acclaimed female disk jockeys (DJ).
Beside recently releasing her latest single, No To Yes with Kula, Orstin is also a brand influencer for MarHaw Fashion, and the creator of haircare line, Farafina Naturalle.
Who Should Guests Expect To See?
The star-studded ceremony will witness performances from one of the county’s hottest female acts, S3fa, GroundUpChale’s Kwesi Arthur, Black Avenue Musik CEO D-Black, Takoradi’s most-wanted Neff Gee, YRapture’s reigning champion Seki Musik, and Hip Hop’s ticking time bomb, Gibrilleville.
Guests can expect to rub shoulders with YFM’s most familiar faces; namely YLounge’s Akosua Hanson, Party Pressure’s AJ Ahenken, The DrYve’s Kojo Manuel, MMRS’ Rev Erskine, YCE’s Jonny Stone, Ryse N Shyne’s Brown Berry, Lyricist Lounge’s Kula, Lyt It Up’s LJ, Friday Nyt Mix’s Nockus, and Programs Manager & host of The Weekend Mashup, Eddy Blay. The station’s most talked about DJs, DJ Mic Smith, DJ Kess, ADDJ, DJ Loft, DJ GANJ, Quarps Hansen, ICharles DJ, DJ Kiss, BigKrisDJ, DJ Rain, AJ Da Hottest, & DJ Bone will also make appearances on the 27th of November for a showdown that will end the year in style.
