Promising Ghana based musical squad, Naughty Dansoman Boys have revealed their aspirations of being honored as the ‘Best Group’ at the 25th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
In an interview with Brown Berry on Y107.9FM’s Ryse N Shyne, the Dansoman Boys indicated that they are bonded by the innate desire of each one of them to make great strides and be recognized in the music industry. “The ultimate goal is that there’s a trophy we want to win as artistes; we work together as a team, as a unit; The Dansoman Naughty boys we could disagree on a lot of things but when it’s studio time, my guys kick it.”
The creatives addressed one another as exceptional talents who carry the potential to be great acts in the industry, however they believed that working together would give them greater opportunities and a larger audience. “moving solo is good but moving in a team breaks boundaries; if one person’s energy can be this massive imagine all of us jumping on it; it’s a lifestyle and we are happy to be part of it.”
The Dansoman Naughty Boys cautioned listeners to brace themselves for musical impact as they position themselves for a massive takeoff as potential winners of the Best Group award in the next award scheme show. “Ghana should expect more songs, more hits, more things to get aligned with; we are working and we are sticking to the plan; There’s no group in the music scene right now, so we are getting ready to win the award for best group of the year.”
The enviable squad is made up of six creatives; Kwame Vybe, Ranny Praps, Boy Weedy, Gyamfi CS, De Omar and Too Scary who have hit the industry with bangers like ‘Flex’ and ‘Observers Are Worried’
