Managing Director of Diamond Capital Investments (DCI) Microfinance, Selasie Woanyah, has advised Ghanaian youth to be brave if they want to succeed in their endeavors.
In an interview with Rev. Erskine on Y107.9FM’s YLeaderboard Series, he said, “If you’re afraid, you’ll fail because fear keeps you where you are. Be courageous and take the step and while at that, ask yourself what’s the worst that could happen if you don’t take the step.”
Charging the youth to live without excuses, he added, “you should not justify that fear with experience but rather take full responsibility of everything that comes your way.”
“Don’t give yourself an excuse and don’t justify your fear with an excuse. Thirdly you need to take full responsibility of your life because it’s your life, your decisions and your actions. The people you meet, the opportunities you give up and take whether you go to school or not is all on you. Just take full responsibility for the decisions you make as that’s the only way you’re going to make it,” he said.
He added “Go out there and search for fish. Don’t wait for anybody to bring you fish and that is the plan for life and the way to succeed in life.”
