Norwich City stunned defending champions Manchester City with a 3-2 victory at Carrow Road on Saturday.
According to Sky Sports, Canaries boss Daniel Farke fielded a starting XI for the match that is only worth £6.45m.
Teemu Pukki, who is the club’s top scorer this season, is one of two free signings alongside Tim Krul.
And Alexander Tettey, Emiliano Buendia and Marco Stiepermann are the most expensive players in the side as they cost the club £1.5m each.
Meanwhile, City’s squad costs a whopping £406.1m and is stacked with players carrying hefty price tags.
Rodri became City’s record signing in the summer and cost the club £62.5m alone.
And Pep Guardiola’s backline includes £50m signings Kyle Walker and John Stones, along with the £33m splashed out on Nicolas Otamendi.
City have fallen five points behind Liverpool in the Premier League after their defeat to Norwich.
And a furious City fan even demanded that Guardiola should be sacked by insisting that the Spaniard has “lost the dressing room.”
The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona boss congratulated Norwich on their victory and expressed his disappointment with the result.
“The first goal was from a set-piece and the second on the counter, so credit to them. It is what it is. We have to learn from this and carry on,” he told BBC Sport.
“Our passing was not bad. We created chances but we could not score them.
“They are a really good team with good players with quality, we saw that in the Championship last year. They were clinical today.
“We did not have the urgency in the final third we normally have. In football, you can’t always avoid mistakes.
“I don’t know how many shots we had or how many they had, but football is about goals and about what you do in the boxes.”
