Ghanaian artiste, Nyarko has shared insights on the making of her newly released EP titled “VIBES” in a recent interview on Y 107.9 FM’s Y Lounge.
The artiste revealed that the oldest song on the EP, “On Me,” was created two years ago, and was not originally intended for the EP.
“This is the song in the EP that was made first like 2 years ago. At the time I didn’t even think of making an EP but I just stacked it there,” Nyarko said.
According to Nyarko, she had saved the song and planned to revisit it later because she believed it was “nice to hear growth sometimes.” She added, “if you listen to this song and you listen to the rest of the EP you might find out that this song was made in another time frame than the other songs.”
Despite not initially planning to include “On Me” in her EP, Nyarko has received positive feedback from fans and listeners alike. The artiste expressed her excitement about the release of the EP and how she hopes her fans will appreciate the growth they will hear in her music. “I’m really excited to put it out and I hope people can hear the growth that I’ve been through,”.
The EP, titled “VIBES” features seven tracks and showcases Nyarko’s unique blend of Afrobeats, Pop, and R&B.
Nyarko’s EP is now available on all major music streaming platforms, and fans can hear the evolution of her music through the years with “On Me” being a testament to the growth she has experienced.
