3 of the best leagues in the world. Many players can say they have a winners medal from these leagues, many have played in all three leagues, but just one has won all 3 leagues.
This player has won the league at every team he has played for except one, winning the league in 3 different countries. He has won the Premier League 3 times, La Liga twice and Serie A once. He has scored a whopping 908 goals in all competitions and recently played 1000 matches. His name: Cristiano Ronaldo.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s first Premier League game came on 16th August 2003 in a 4-0 home win against Bolton. He only had to wait 3 months to score his first goal, coming on 1st November 2003. United came 3rd that year, finishing 15 points behind the invincibles Arsenal. In his 2nd season, he again came 3rd with Chelsea winning the league that year. Ronaldo was again denied the Premier League title in 2005-06 when Chelsea won it for the 2nd year in a row, however, things were to change the following year when United won it, finishing 6 points above Chelsea. United went on the trophy the next two seasons before Ronaldo departed for Real Madrid for 80 million in the summer of 2009.
Ronaldo got his first goal for Los Blancos in the first game of the season: a 3-2 home win against Deportivo La Coruña. He got his first hat-trick for Madrid in a 4-1 win over Mallorca in May 2010 as Real Madrid finished 2nd, 3 points behind Barcelona. The following year, Madrid came 4 points behind Barcelona, but in 2011-12 Ronaldo got his first La Liga winners medal when they reached 100 points and finished 9 points above their arch-rivals. That season he managed 2 hat-tricks against Atlético in the league. Ronaldo was to miss out the following season, finishing a miserable 15 points behind Barca at the top. They then came 3 points behind Atlético, 2 points behind Barca and then 1 point behind Barca before they managed to reclaim the title in 2016-17. This being Ronaldo’s 2nd La Liga title. Madrid came 3rd in 2017-18, 17 points behind Barca in Ronaldo’s final year there, but he did manage to add to his collection of Champions League trophies.
Ronaldo then moved to Juventus and scored his first goal there on 16th September 2018 in a 3-2 win against Sassuolo. That season he won his first Serie A title as Juve finished 11 points clear of Napoli. He is on course for his 2nd title this season with the Turin outfit sitting 1 point above Lazio when the league was suspended because of the coronavirus outbreak.
