PHOTOS: Happy FM & Lakeside Marina Launch Family Fun Run

The 7^th edition of the Happy FM and Lakeside Marina Park annual Family Fun Run event has been launched.  The ceremony which was held at the Silver Star Tower, was attended by Mr. Salah Kweku Kalmoni – Director of Lakeside Estates, Mr. Naveen Singh – Head of Radio for Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company (the mother company for Happy FM), Mr. Ebenezer Acquah – Events Coordinator for GMABC, members of the Ghanaian media and some participants from previous events.
“This 7^th edition of the Family Fun Run is so very special to us because it falls on Ghana’s 60^th Independence anniversay and we are proud to say that the event has gotten bigger and touched more and more people over the years.  We are very happy to have sustained this event and able to once again present this unique opportunity for families to come together to have fun and exercise. ” Mr. Salah Kweku Kalmoni, Director of Lakeside Estate noted.

We are all very familiar with the routine and demands of everyday living, and how it often spares little or no time at all for families, to meet, relax and have fun. We therefore urge all families to pick up registration forms and participate in this worthy healthy and socially beneficial event, he added.”
The Lakeside Marina/Happy FM Family Fun Run is a family event held annually on Independence Day – 6^th March, to encourage healthy living among Ghanaians. The event starts from 6am at the Lakeside Marina Park in Ashale Botwe.
Registration for the approximately 6km run is open to the general public, with the option to register as a family, an individual, school team or a corporate CEO.  Up for grabs include awards for the fastest man, fastest woman, fastest child aged 12 and below, fastest teenager, fastest runner over 50, fastest family, fastest CEO, and fastest corporate team.
Registration centers include the Lakeside Marina Park, Happy FM, Silver Star Tower, Silverbird Accra Mall & Weija and Global Media Alliance offices.
