Los Angeles, CA (July 9, 2021) – Prolific Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold today released his newest single, “Sinner” off his upcoming album due out early this fall via Platoon. Inspired by the tragic story of King David and Bathsheba, “Sinner” features the soulful Lucky Daye and is now available to stream.
The most famous pioneer of the Afropop genre mixing afrobeat and pop music, Gold is one of the most elegant artists to come out of Africa to date. Says Gold, “Weirdly, I was thinking about King David and Bathsheba’s sexcapade and thought it’d make a beautiful song.”
