Adrien Rabiot has been suspended by Paris Saint-Germain until March 27 after the club cited two indiscretions in the wake of the Champions League defeat by Manchester United last week.
The midfielder, 23, was filmed in a Paris nightclub shortly after the last-16 exit from Europe.
He then liked a video posted on social media by Patrice Evra celebrating Man United‘s triumph with Paul Pogba.
Rabiot’s relationship with the club is already stretched after failing to agree a new contract at the Parc des Princes, and it is likely he will leave PSG on a free transfer this summer.
The 23-year-old has not played for the Ligue 1 champions since December, when he featured in a Champions League group stage win over Red Star Belgrade.
This suspension is the latest in a series of clashes with PSG hierarchy, having already received a fine and missed a training camp as his future grew more uncertain.
Rabiot came through the ranks at PSG, making 227 appearances and scoring 24 goals since his debut in 2012.
He has also earned six caps for France, but was left out of the 2018 World Cup-winning squad after poor club form in the second half of last season.
