Founder of 3 Music and 3 Music Awards, Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu, has questioned the Ministry of Tourism and all other parties that are responsible for the encounter between Ghanaian President H. E Nana Akuffo Addo, and American rapper, Meek Mill.
The avid NDC politician revealed that before the courtesy call to the presidency, the representative of the Creative Art Agency, Gyankroma Akuffo -Addo, whom allegedly made it possible should have asked for permission from the supervising ministry, Ministry of Tourism Arts and culture.
As one that has ample knowledge and experience with music and international relations, the founder of the broadcast company expounded that in the Western countries, any official meetings with public officials are done with the accompaniment of the guest by a chaperone, who guides and enlightens the guest about the ‘dos and don’ts’ of that domain.
He made this intriguing statement in an interview on Happy 98.9 FM’s Epa Hoa Daben show with host Don. Kwabena Prah.
“We have to create entertainment content; I’m all up for it. But when you have to put the presidency in the light and in the background, this happened when you are chaperoned.” The socialite highlighted and emphasized on the fact that there must be a body that regulates the call on the presidency.
