This segment is one of the oldest segments on the Dryve of Your Lyfe.
Three songs are selected to battle each other; all genre of music. Each day on the Dryve, we have to figure out the best song amongst the 3 selected songs. This is done via Twitter Poll, Phone Calls by listeners and voice notes sent by listeners to our WhatsApp Number. The song with the highest votes after calculation wins the Play of the Day for that day.
On Monday 2nd October, we picked 3 songs by African Artistes who has done collaborations with International Acts. Two Ghanaians and 1 Nigerian; New Guy by Sarkodie ft. Ace Hood, Dangerous Love by Fuse ODG ft. Sean Paul and Fans Mi by David oft. Meek Mill.
After the end of the segment, Multiple Award Winning Artiste Sarkodie won the Play of The Day with his song New Guy which features American Rapper Ace Hood.
