Shatta Wale has once again demonstrated that his only knowledge is how to triumph in the music industry.
The Ghanaian dancehall artist has achieved another milestone in his musical career by being the first Ghanaian to top the Reggae chart on the iTunes in the United States of America.
With his song “Property,” Shatta Wale beat out Shaggy, who had songs like “Angel” and “It wasn’t me,” as well as Wayne Wonder, Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds, Jimmy Cliff, and other well-known musicians from around the world.
‘Property’ by the Ghanaian music star who has a song with Beyonce, earned him the enviable feature released on December 18, 2020. The tune was part of the ‘Jamaican Garrison Christmas compilation’ released in 2020 and executive produced by the Contractor Music Group, a marketing company in Jamaica.
The Grammy-winning Dancehall performer’s song follows that of Mr. Eazi, a Nigerian musician who became the first African artist to top the non-Reggae chart on USA iTunes.
