Record breaking Ghanaian Dancehall act Stonebwoy has returned Vodafone Ghana with a Big Bang.
The singer who was banned from the awards scheme in 2019 after he brandished a weapon on stage when his colleague act Shatta Wale walked to the stage in dispute of Stonebwoy’s pronunciation as winner of the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste for the 5th consecutive time at the VGMA’s.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale after the incident on the awards night were both fined Gh₵50,000 each with one surety by an Adjaben District Court.
After the his performance last night, Stonebwoy expressed kind words and appreciation to organizers and fans,saying;

Stonebwoy won 3 awards in the two-day event including the Reggae Dancehall artiste of the year, then Vodafone Green Award for his song Greedy men which sensitizes people about the effects of illegal mining and the Music for Good category.
