Dancehall artist, Livingstone Etse Satekla, known in showbiz as Stonebwoy has been crowned the king of Ghana music at the just ended Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The President of the BHIM Nation Empire beat off competition from Sarkodie, King Promise, Nacee, Kuami Eugene and last year’s winner Black Sherif to win the ultimate award on the morning of Sunday, May 2, 2024.
This becomes Stonebwoy’s second Artist of the Year award after winning his first in 2015 with his hit single Baafira which featured Ghana’s and Africa’s rap King Sarkodie.
Stonebwoy’s exploits for the year under review have been remarkable as he grabbed five other awards at the 25th TGMA.
Aside the Artist of the Year award, Stonebwoy also won International Collaboration of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Reggae Dancehall artiste of the Year, Record of the Year and Album/EP of the year.
