Following the hugely successful and first in-person event in six years, TEDxAccra has today launched an exclusive 8-part podcast series in partnership with The Change Africa Podcast, the popular podcast series that democratises African thought leadership by platforming the ideas, lives and impact of change-makers and doers at the fore of Africa’s transformation.
Hosted by Acast, The Change Africa Podcast: A TEDxAccra Special is an 8-episode weekly series that will feature in-depth discussion into the work and impact of the “TEDxAccra Agents of Change” speakers. Jabari Hall – Founder, JHASHEART
Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Jabari immigrated to the US in 1994. He grew up in a poor stricken neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY – where gang violence and murder was prevalent. The youngest of 5, he never settled for what the world gave him, instead, made his own mark gaining a full scholarship to Penn State University.
Jabari created his own company after graduating college and went on to earn the kind of money he always dreamed of. But he soon realized that money alone is not fulfilling. He then set out to impact humans around the world that either grew up like he did, look like he does, or are looking for a future better than their present circumstances.
Jabari is the founder of JHASHEART, a non-profit based out of Brooklyn NY. He is passionate about Social Emotional Learning. He empowers others to believe in their gift and talent and be the best version of themselves.

Nana Danso – Contemporary Artist – Art Soul Kojo
Danso Awuah-Asante best known as Nana Danso, is a Ghanaian contemporary artist whose art has gained recognition thanks to his involvement in street art in Accra and substantial collaborations with global brands. His endless cast of characters and personalities; address a broad spectrum of universal and existential philosophies with childlike appeal. His childlike strokes and elementary shapes recall the simple yet complex imaginations of the human psyche, laying bare the limitless possibilities of how one can perceive the world. Self-taught, Nana Danso began painting and creating art extensively as an outlet for his love for stories. His work fuses aspects of storytelling, abstract poetry combined with an impressionist and pop-art visual look.

Patrick Fynn is a physician, youth leader, and a social entrepreneur. He is founder and team leader for Standout Care, a social enterprise that provides free to affordable healthcare to remote communities, underserved populations in Ghana. His work in civic engagement and the not-for profit sector has spanned over 5 years of driving social change through community-based healthcare initiatives. Precious Bonsu – Founder, CEO Whale Learning Group
German-born Ghanaian educationist, Precious Bonsu, Founder / CEO of Whale Learning Group is a gifted and celebrated teacher, Teaching and learning expert, communication consultant, publisher, author, and serial entrepreneur. Stefania Manfreda – Founder, Creative Lead & Curator Lokko House
Stefania Manfreda is the founder, creative lead, and curator of Lokko House, a contemporary Ghanaian design brand that emerged in 2008 to showcase the very best of Accra’s Street style and culture. Launching with Lokko’08 and then rebranding to Lokko House in 2018 (the city’s first urban concept store), she brought her vision of a fresh, authentically Ghanaian fashion and lifestyle hub to life and has since crafted a home for modern African brands.
