CALI SWAG DISTRICT – TEACH ME HOW TO DOUGIE
“Teach Me How to Dougie” is a song recorded by American hip hop group Cali Swag District. The track was produced by Runway Star for Cali Swag District’s debut studio album, The Kickback (2011). The song was written by Chanti Glee, Charon Childs, and Corey Fowler. The song was released digitally on April 12, 2010 as the first single from the album through Capitol Records. The song refers to the Dougie dance, which originated in Dallas, Texas.
“Teach Me How to Dougie” was a commercial success, and peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100, peaked at number 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and peaked at number 2 on the Hot Rap Songs. It was certified platinum in the United States.
They first performed the single at the 2010 102 JAMZ Super Jam at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina on May 21, 2010. The group performed the single at the 2010 BET Awards pre-show by 106 and Park which aired live on the network June 27, 2010.
 
KEVIN LYTTLE FT. SPRAGGA BENZ – TURN ME ON
“Turn Me On” is the debut single by Vincentian singer Kevin Lyttle. It was the lead single from his self-titled debut album. The song was originally a soca ballad recorded in 2001 and released in 2003, remixed into a dance hit for the US release. “Turn Me On” became a worldwide hit, peaking within top 10 in fifteen countries.
“Turn Me On” has been covered by numerous artists, including Himanshu Suri, Raghav, Jay Sean, Mumzy Stranger and CocoRosie. There was also a female response from 2 Play called “Got Me Wrong”.
The song was covered by American DJ trio Cheat Codes and Dutch DJ Dante Klein, in their 2016 single “Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)”, released on Spinnin’ Records.
 
PETER ANDRE – MYSTERIOUS GIRL
“Mysterious Girl” is the second overall single and third British single from singer-songwriter Peter Andre’s second studio album, Natural. The song was written by Glen Goldsmith, Philip Jackson, Ollie Jacobs and Andre, and produced by Jacobs. The song features guest vocals from Caribbean rapper Bubbler Ranx. The song was first released as a single by Melodian Records in Australia in September 1992. The song was then re-released as a single in 1995, but was not released in the United Kingdom until May 1996 due to problems regarding the administration of Andre’s UK record label, Mushroom Records.
The song was originally titled “Mysterious Boy” but was changed upon the suggestion of Andre’s management, whom believed it to be more commercially viable as “Mysterious Girl”.
 
YOUNG MC – BUST A MOVE
“Bust a Move” is a song by British-American rapper Young MC. It won the 1990 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance. It appeared on his album Stone Cold Rhymin’ and was his biggest hit, reaching number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the charts in Australia. The song stayed on the Billboard 100 for 39 weeks and 20 weeks in the top 40 alone.
The song is built on a sample of “Found a Child” by the group Ballin’ Jack. The drums, produced by a Linn drum, are sampled from the song “Radio-Activity” by Royal Cash. The breakdown segment contains a combination of beats sampled from the songs “Scorpio” by Dennis Coffey and the Detroit Guitar Band, and “Daytime Hustler” by Bette Midler. Bust a Move also featured guest vocals by Crystal Blake and bass guitar by Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, both of whom also appeared in the video.
 
 
SIR MIX A LOT – BABY GOT BACK
“Baby Got Back” is a hit song written and recorded by American artist Sir Mix-a-Lot, from his album Mack Daddy. The song samples the 1986 Detroit techno single “Technicolor” by Channel One.
At the time of its original release, the song caused controversy with its outspoken and blatantly sexual lyrics about women, as well as specific references to the female buttocks which some people found objectionable. The video was briefly banned by MTV. “Baby Got Back” has remained popular and even anthemic since it was originally featured on the album Mack Daddy in 1992.
It was the second best-selling song in the US in 1992, behind Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”, with sales of 2,392,000 physical copies that year. In 2008, it was ranked number 17 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.
                                           
PLAYAS CIRCLE – DUFFLE BAG BOY
“Duffle Bag Boy” is a song by American hip hop duo Playaz Circle, released as the debut lead single from their debut album, Supply & Demand (2007). The song features a guest appearance from fellow American rapper Lil Wayne and was produced by M16 and Liam Kantwill. The song peaked in the Top 40 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 15.
The song was used by Chris Rock as the music he exited the stage to on his 2008 ‘No Apologies’ tour. As well as his entrance theme song to his show “Kill the Messenger”. Drake used Lil Wayne’s lyrics of “Duffle Bag Boy” for his song “Underground Kings” from his second studio album Take Care.
RICH BOY – THROW SOME D’S
“Throw Some D’s” is the first single from the self-titled album of rap artist Rich Boy, and his most commercially successful song to date. The single was produced by Butta and Polow da Don (who has a featured credit in the song). The song contains samples from the 1979 song “I Call Your Name” by the R&B group Switch. It has been certified platinum by the RIAA.
The music video was released in October 2006 and was in heavy rotation on BET and MTV, with a cameo made by Keri Hilson. The song was number 37 on Rolling Stone‘s list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007.
 
LOU BEGA – MAMBO NO. 5
“Mambo No. 5” is a mambo and jive dance song originally recorded and composed by Cuban Dámaso Pérez Prado in 1949.
The song’s popularity was renewed by German artist Lou Bega’s sampling and vocal version of the original, released under the same name on Bega’s 1999 debut album A Little Bit of Mambo.
Lou Bega’s cover was a hit in the United Kingdom, and Australia, where it reached number-one in 1999. It stayed at number-one in Australia for eight weeks, ultimately becoming the best-selling single of 1999.
 
TONY TETUILA – MY CAR
Anthony Olanrewaju Awotoye, better known as Tony Tetuila, is an Afro hip hop artist from Nigeria. His name, Olanrewaju, means “My wealth is the future“. Formerly a member of The Remedies (along with Eedris Abdulkareem and Eddy Montana), he split with the group and has been successful as a solo artist.
Some of his hit songs which got him more attention in Africa and across such as My Car, Ego Better, Na U Sabi Fefe NeFe which he was featured by Ghanaian Hip Life Icon Tic Tac and so many others.
 
EEDRIS ABDULKAREEM – JAGA JAGA
He was born Eedris Turayo Abdulkareem Ajenifuja, a Nigerian hip hop artist.
Born to a polygamous family in Kano, Nigeria, his father was from Ilesha, Osun State, and his mother was from Ogun State. Raised in Kano, he adopted Kano State as his state of origin.
One of his hit song which made waves all over Africa is Jaga Jaga and other songs such as Pass, Mr. Lecturer and so many.
 
MAD FISH – YAHOOYA
One of Ghana’s musicians who continued to beat the minds of Ghanaians with a different style of dance hall/raga combined with hip life.
He is one of the greatest artistes hip life has ever discovered since its beginning about ten years ago. His real name is Raymond Kofi Frimpong. This name may not be familiar with many people. Better still, he is popularly called Mad Fish.
He has a collection of songs but there was one particular one which was hit some years ago was “Yahooya” which featured Samini and produced by JQ.
 
DEEBA – DEEBA       
He is a Ghanaian musician known as Akyampong Deeba aka Deeba who shot to fame during the early days of hip life in Ghana with his popular tune-Deeba which featured Bazaar.
He is regarded as one of Ghana’s sensations with his first ever popular music which was widely known in Ghana with very a simple and catchy chorus which was mostly sang by a lot of people. For so many years now, people have not heard of any other tune from Deeba but his debut tune still runs on a number of radio stations.
YOUNG DRO – SHOULDER LEAN
“Shoulder Lean” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Young Dro, released July 4, 2006 as his debut single and the lead single from his debut studio album Best Thang Smokin’. The song features fellow American rapper and his Grand Hustle label boss T.I. on the hook. The productionwas handled by Grand Hustle in-house producer Cordale “Lil’ C” Quinn. The song was a massive hit in the United States, reaching the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number one on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart. This was Young Dro’s first and only Top 10 single and T.I.’s fourth Top 10 single. The song received heavy airplay and was certified 2x Platinum by RIAA.
EAMON – FUCK IT (I DON’T WANT U BACK)
Fuck It (I Don’t Want You Back)” is the debut single by American singer-songwriter/harmonicistEamon. It was co-written by Eamon, Kirk Robinson and Mark Passy. It was released on November 23, 2003 as the lead single from his debut album, I Don’t Want You Back.
The song is notable for the frequency of its expletives. It also reached number one in many countries, including Australia, Denmark, Italy, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. It appeared in Billboard magazine as “F**k It (I Don’t Want You Back)”.
MIMS – THIS IS WHY I’M HOT
“This Is Why I’m Hot” is a song by American rapper Mims. The song was co-written by Mims and produced by Blackout Movement for his debut album Music Is My Savior (2007).
Released in 2007 as the first single from the album, the song reached No. 1 on the U.S. BillboardHot 100 chart, as well as #2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 1 on theBillboard Hot Rap Tracks chart, eventually being certified Platinum by the RIAA.
The song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart, selling 140,874 downloads. It remained the top-selling digital single for one additional week.
Eventually, the success of the song in the United States saw a release in the United Kingdom in May 2007, where the single peaked at No. 18 on the UK Singles Chart on the week dated June 3, 2007.The song was also featured in the soundtrack of the film Due Date
CHAMILLIONAIRE – RIDIN
“Ridin'” is a song by American rapper Chamillionaire, released as the lead single from his debut studio album The Sound of Revenge (2005). The song, produced by Play-N-Skillz, features a guest appearance from fellow American rapper Krayzie Bone, of Bone Thugs n Harmony. Its title is often incorrectly assumed to be “Ridin’ Dirty”, due to the chorus. The lyrics concern racial profiling and police brutality, as well as the stereotyping of African-Americans driving a vehicle with drugs or other contraband on the inside (“Riding dirty”).
 
DAVID BUNNER – 9MM
“9mm” is the first single from David Banner’s fifth album, The Greatest Story Ever Told. The song features Akon, Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg and was co-produced by David Banner, Akon, and Deezle. “9mm” appeared on Lil Wayne’s mix tape The Best Rapper Alive, Vol. 3 and Chamillionaire’s “Mixtape Messiah 3”.
 
JOE BUDDEN – PUMP IT UP
“Pump It Up” is a song by American hip hop artist Joe Budden. It was released on May 8, 2003 as lead single from his self-titled debut. It was featured in 2 Fast 2 Furious, You Got Served, as well as the trailer for the comedy Meet the Blacks. The song was also featured on Madden NFL 2004, and peaked at number thirty eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and number thirteen in the United Kingdom.
Produced by Just Blaze, the beat was originally turned down by Beanie Sigel, Freeway and Jay-Z before Joe Budden used it. It contains a sample from “Soul Vibrations” as performed by Kool & the Gang. It was number number 13 on the UK Singles  Official Charts.
J HOLIDAY – BED
“Bed” is a song by American R&B singer J. Holiday. It is the second single released from his debut album Back of My Lac’. The song was produced by Los Da Mystro, who co-wrote the song with The-Dream.
Chris Brown was originally chosen to record the song, but when The-Dream decided to give it to J. Holiday instead, Brown said that he at least wanted to be featured on the record, as he thought it would bring the song to number one, but it never happened.
HURRICANE CHRIS – AY BAY BAY
“A Bay Bay” is a song by American rapper Hurricane Chris from his debut studio album 51/50 Ratchet. It was released on May 28, 2007, as the album’s debut single.
With the production handled by Phunk Dawg (who made this catchy, up-tempo and club-oriented southern hip hop track), it allowed this song to be peaked at number 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The song debuted at number 95 on the US Billboard Hot 100. In its second week, the song came down even further at number 85 on the chart. In its third week, the song came down even much further at number 24 on the chart. The song had officially reached at number 7 on the chart. According to Billboard, the phrase “A Bay Bay” was heard from this song for over a total of 67 times.
MARIO VAZQUEZ – GALLERY 
“Gallery” is the debut single by artist Mario Vazquez, taken from his self-titled debut album. It was written and produced by Norwegian duo Stargate with additional writing and vocal production by NeYo. The song, one of the most added records at Rhythm radio stations across the United States on its first week out, was sent out to Top 40 radio on April 17, 2006 and was made available through all digital retailers as a single release on May 2, 2006. Both English and Spanglish (macaronic) versions of “Gallery” are currently on radio and are released digitally. The music video was released on May 30, 2006. The single has managed to peak at number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100, but has managed to fare better on the Billboard Pop 100, peaking at number fifteen. It has also debuted at number 49 on the Australian ARIA Top 100 and reached the top 15 in France. 
LUMIDEE -NEVER LEAVE YOU 
“Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)” is a song by American recording artist Lumidee, released as the debut single on May 13, 2003 from her debut studio album, Almost Famous (2003)
In the United States, “Never Leave You (Uh Ooh, Uh Ooh)” debuted at number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the United Kingdom, the single debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart on August 3, 2003 (for the week ending date August 9, 2003), beaten to top by Blu Cantrell and Sean Paul’s “Breathe”. The song reached the top spot on Billboard‘s European Hot 100, after it jumped from number three to number-one in the Netherlands and number seven to number three in Germany.
IYAZ – REPLAY
“Replay” is the debut single from British Virgin Islands recording artist Iyaz. It is the first single released from his debut album of the same name, which was released on 8 June 2009.
The single entered at the top of the UK Singles Chart, where it remained for three weeks until it was knocked off the summit by “Fireflies” by Owl City. Internationally, the single also topped the charts in Australia, Israel and Switzerland and peaked within the top ten of the charts in many countries, including Finland, France and the United States.
ASHER ROTH – I LOVE COLLEGE 
“I Love College” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Asher Roth, released on January 13, 2009, as the lead single from his debut album, Asleep in the Bread Aisle (2009). The song, which was produced by Mike Caren, Apathy (rapper), and Ben H. Allen, also serves as Roth’s commercial debut single, released by Schoolboy, SRC and Universal Motown. The song was later serviced for Airplay to radio stations in the United Kingdom, on April 27, 2009.
ZIGI – U SEY WEYTIN
Zigi began his career in the entertainment industry as a break dancer before going on to model for Smirnoff, MTN, and Canoe Magazine. He signed to Lynx Entertainment Record Label in 2009 and released his debut album ‘Prince of Pop’ in 2011.[2] The album featured hit singles “U Sey Wey Tin” and Amanda and earned him the nomination for ‘Discovery of the Year’ at the 2011 4syte Music Video Awards.
Zigi received three nominations at the 2012 Ghana Music Awards for ‘Best New Artiste of the Year’, ‘Afro-Pop Song of the Year’ and ‘Most Popular Song of the Year’. He went on to win the award for ‘Afro-Pop Song of the Year’ at the ceremony on 14 April 2012.
BONE CRUSHER – SCARED
“Never Scared” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Bone Crusher, released as his debut single and the lead single from his debut album, AttenCHUN!. The song was produced by Avery Johnson and features verses from fellow Atlanta-based rappers Killer Mike and T.I. The song became a Top 40 hit, reaching number 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, while also reaching the top 10 of the BillboardHot R&B Hip-Hop and Rap charts. The success of the single propelled AttenCHUN to reach number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, although Bone Crusher’s success would be short-lived as “Never Scared” would be his only charting single. The song, however, was only the first of many future hit singles for T.I.
SHOP BOYZ – PARTY LIKE A ROCKSTAR
“Party Like a Rockstar” is a song by American hip hop group Shop Boyz. It was released as the lead single from their debut album Rockstar Mentality (2007). It reached high success during summer 2007 and was successful in the United States, peaking in the top five on the BillboardHot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Hot Rap Tracks, and Hot 100 charts. The song was nominated for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at the 50th Grammy Awards.
The song is based around two electric guitar riffs (taken from “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne). It also makes references to certain rock figures such as Marilyn Manson, The Osbournes, Kiss, Queen, Bruce Springsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Travis Barker.
BRICK & LACE – LOVE IS WICKED
“Love Is Wicked” is the second single from Brick & Lace’s debut album of the same title. The single was recorded over the Diwali Riddim and was released to iTunes on May 22, 2007.
It was also featured on the Bratz Motion Picture Soundtrack. It sold over 120,000 copies in France during the summer of 2008.
ESTER DEAN – DROP IT LOW 
“Drop It Low” is a buzz single by American singer songwriter Ester Dean. The official version features vocals from R&Bsinger Chris Brown. This is also released as the second single from the soundtrack for the film More Than a Game (2009).
The official remix features Lil Wayne, Trey Songz and Diddy. Polow da Don later stated that the song was originally meant for Ciara, but when the singer passed on it, it was eventually given to Ester Dean.
Britney Spears wanted to record “Drop It Low” for her album Femme Fatale before Dean used it as her own single.
Gangnam Style
“Gangnam Style” is the 18th K-pop single by the South Korean musician Psy. The song’s music video has been viewed over 2.61 billion times on YouTube,^[8] and has been YouTube’s most watched video since November 24, 2012,
The phrase “Gangnam Style” is a Korean neologism that refers to a lifestyle associated with the Gangnam District of Seoul.  “Gangnam Style” was recognized by Guinness World Records as the most “liked” video on YouTube. It subsequently won Best Video at the MTV Europe Music Awards held later that year.
As the song continued to rapidly gain popularity and ubiquity, its signature dance moves were attempted by many notable political leaders such as the British Prime Minister David Cameron, U.S. President Barack Obama, and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who hailed it as a “force for world peace”
CABO SNOOP – WINDECK
Angolan artist Cabo Snoop was introduced to kuduro style music by producer I.V.M. Beats.
They recorded one track for fun, and after a while when I.V.M. Beatz came up with a new instrumental, Snoop’s breakthrough song ‘Windek’ was conceived. Initially shelved, when tested on a crowd it became apparent that the song had hit potential.
The successful single and video led to international appreciation and in 2010 Cabo Snoop was awarded Best Lusophone artist at the MTV Africa Music Awards. That same year he released his first album titled ‘Bluetooth’.
J-KWON – TIPSY  
“Tipsy” is a song recorded by J-Kwon. It peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, being held off the top spot by Usher’s “Yeah!”. Outside the United States, “Tipsy” peaked within the top ten of charts in Australia and the United Kingdom. To date, “Tipsy” has been J-Kwon’s biggest and only hit, with his next single “You and Me” being a moderate success peaking in the Top 20 on the U.S. Rap chart.
